RPM is a group fitness
program marketed by the
Les Mills company and offered
at participating fitness/health
clubs. A forty-five-minute RPM
session generally comprises of
nine songs of various genres
including dance, RnB, pop, 90's
and chart music.
RPM comprises of a
specially designed cycling
session, which is designed to help
participants increase their
aerobic fitness levels by working
their lower body. Participants
ride exercise bikes in an
accredited
Les Mills cycling studio
facing and following the
instructions of an instructor on a
stage also riding a bike facing
the participants.
A new program with new songs
and choreography is introduced and
distributed to participating
fitness/health clubs every three
months. RPM instructors are
trained by the
Les Mills company and
accredited to teach each of the
new routines.
