BodyFlow group fitness
program marketed by the
Les Mills company and offered
at participating fitness/health
clubs. A one-hour BodyBalance
session generally comprises of ten
or eleven songs of easy-listening
and chill-out music genres.
BodyFlow is also known as
BodyBalance outside of the
United States of America and is
gradually being changed in name to
BodyBalance at those clubs that
refer to the class as BodyFlow.
BodyBalance comprises of a
slow-moving, low-impact excercise
routine, which is designed to help
participants increase muscle
strength through holding poses and
careful breathing. BodyBalance
requires concentration and will
increase overall flexibility.
A new program with new songs
and choreography is introduced and
distributed to participating
fitness/health clubs every three
months. BodyBalance instructors
are trained by the
Les Mills company and
accredited to teach each of the
new routines.
