Cardiotoxin III (CTX
III) is a sixty amino-acid
polypeptide from the
Taiwan
Cobra (Naja naja atra).
Recent evidence has shown that CTX
III may induce
apoptosis in
K562 cells via the release of
cytochrome c
[1].
