human
growth, though it is a
fundamental of
biology generally. Auxology is
a highly multi-disciplinary
science involving
medicine (pediatrics,
endocrinology,
physiology, and since the body
is a system, almost any other
field),
nutrition,
genetics,
anthropology,
anthropometry,
history,
economics,
socioeconomics, among others.
